Robbery of Bank of the West Branch in Norman

Below is a surveillance photograph taken from this morning’s robbery of Bank of the West, 2122 W. Main Street, Norman, Oklahoma.

For information: Today at 10:25 a.m., an unidentified white male wearing a ski mask, gloves, long-sleeved, hooded shirt, and pants, all black in color, approached a teller at the Bank of the West, 2122 W. Main Street, Norman, and demanded money. The robber used a semiautomatic pistol and forced tellers to place money in a black and yellow backpack.

The robber was described as a white male, approximately 5’8” tall and 180 lbs., in his mid to late 20’s. In addition to the dark clothing, the robber wore grey tennis shoes.

The FBI believes this subject robbed this same bank on June 3, 2009.

The investigation is being conducted by the FBI and Norman Police Department.
