Norfolk FBI Requests the Public’s Assistance to Identify Armed Bank Robber

The Norfolk Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), along with the Virginia Beach Police Department, requests the public’s assistance with identifying the subject responsible for an armed robbery of Bank of America branch at 1000 Independence Boulevard in Virginia Beach, Virginia, on Saturday, August 30, 2014, at approximately 11:41 a.m.

The unknown subject is described as a medium or dark-skinned male, approximately 5’9” tall, medium build, wearing a blue jacket, jeans, a ball cap, and dark-colored mask.

Anyone with information regarding the suspect should call the Norfolk FBI Office at (757) 455-0100. Members of the public should consider the subject armed and extremely dangerous and should not attempt to approach or apprehend him.

A combined reward of up to $25,000 is being offered by the FBI and the financial industry for information leading directly to the arrest and conviction of the individual responsible for this robbery.
