Manhattan Bank Robber Sought

On January 7, 2015, at around 2 p.m., the Chase Bank at 1924 Third Avenue was robbed by an unknown white male. The suspect passed a demand note to the teller and indicated that he had a weapon in his waistband. After the robbery, the suspect fled on foot and was last seen walking northbound on Third Avenue. The Federal Bureau of Investigation and New York City Police Department are seeking the public’s help identifying the suspect. Video surveillance and photos are below.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5’10" tall and 250 to 260 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black “beanie” hat, gray zippered sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, and black boots.

A reward is available for information that leads to the identification, arrest, and conviction of the suspect in this case. Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI at 212-384-1000. Tipsters may remain anonymous. The suspect should be considered armed and dangerous.
