FBI New York Wanted Fugitive Surrenders in Miami, Florida

FBI New York July 09, 2010

This afternoon, Joel Jorge Gonzalez surrendered to the City of Miami Police Department in Miami, Florida. Gonzalez, who was placed on the FBI New York’s fugitive list late yesterday, turned himself in following media coverage of his fugitive status. Gonzalez was wanted for his alleged involvement in the homicide of a man on July 12, 2009 in Rye Brook, New York. He will have an appearance in federal court in Florida. We refer you to the U.S. Attorney's Office in the Southern District of New York for any additional information.
