Also in attendance for today’s event was Special Agent in Charge (SAC) Gerald Rose of the New York Office’s Counterintelligence Division. SAC Rose commented: “Counterintelligence is one of our top priorities in the New York Office. As Counterintelligence agents, analysts, language specialists, investigative specialists, and surveillance specialists, they often work in the shadows and I am proud that today they are being recognized for their efforts.”

The contributions made by CD-7 were also recognized by FBI Assistant Director in Charge (ADIC) Joseph Demarest who said: “The New York Office is proud of the efforts of SSA Scott Olson and CD-7. CD-7 and the New York Office work tirelessly to keep America safe from those who wish to do us harm. I was proud to see Director of National Intelligence Blair recognize our brave men and women for their outstanding and noteworthy efforts.”
