Washington, DC — The FBI today announced the roll-out of a new Information Technology Internet webpage. The web site is designed to supply the public with information about FBI information technology (IT) initiatives, procedures such us the Enterprise Architecture, Lifecycle management directive, program management disciplines and IT projects ranging from the FBI’s new information management system, SENTINEL, to upgrades in the FBI’s security-related technologies, such as the Public Key Infrastructure project.

Chief Information Officer Zalmai Azmi stated: “The FBI is at a unique stage with its information technology systems — we have matured our internal IT management infrastructure, and are now reaching out to find the best technology solutions through commercial vendors. The Information Technology web site on the fbi.gov page will allow vendors and the public a more detailed view of FBI IT programs and accomplishments.”
