Trina Washington Named Special Agent in Charge of Administrative Branch for Washington Field Office

FBI Director James B. Comey has named Trina Washington as the special agent in charge of the Administrative Branch for the Washington Field Office. Mrs. Washington most recently served as the section chief over the Initial Clearance Section in the Security Division.

Mrs. Washington joined the FBI in 1997 and was first assigned to the New York Division, where she investigated counterterrorism matters. Mrs. Washington has held leadership positions in the Counterterrorism Division, the Philadelphia Division, the Inspection Division, and the Newark Division.

Before joining the FBI, Mrs. Washington served with the Pennsylvania State Police as a state trooper.

Mrs. Washington will assume her new role in October.
