FBI Deputy Director David Bowdich Returns from Overseas Travel

FBI Deputy Director David Bowdich traveled this past week to San Salvador, El Salvador, to meet with key international partners. During the trip, Bowdich met with El Salvador President Nayib Bukele and the attorney general, minister of justice and security, director general of the National Civil Police, and director of immigration. Bowdich also met with U.S. Embassy partners, including Ambassador Ronald Johnson.

In each meeting, Bowdich expressed the FBI’s continued appreciation for partnership with El Salvador’s law enforcement community and reiterated the FBI’s commitment to dismantling MS-13, the 18th Street Gang, and other transnational criminal organizations.
