C. Bryan Paarmann Named Special Agent in Charge of the Counterterrorism Division for the New York Field Office
FBI Director Christopher Wray announced the appointment of C. Bryan Paarmann as the special agent in charge of the Counterterrorism Division for the New York Field Office. Mr. Paarmann most recently served as Deputy Assistant Director in the International Operations Division.
Mr. Paarmann entered on duty as a special agent with the FBI in 1996, and was first assigned to the Denver Division, where he worked international terrorism and foreign counterintelligence matters on the Denver Joint Terrorism Task Force.
Throughout his career, Mr. Paarmann has held leadership positions in the Counterterrorism Division, including as the Deputy Assistant Director. He has also held leadership positions in the San Juan Division and the Washington Field Office, as well as being the legal attaché in Tbilisi, Georgia, and the legal attaché in Kyiv, Ukraine.
Mr. Paarmann will report to the New York Field office for his new role in September.
