Joint Reward for Shootings of ICE Special Agents

The U.S. government is offering a reward of up to $5 million for information leading to the arrest or conviction of those responsible for the murder and attempted murder of two U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement special agents.

Mollie Halpern: The U.S. government is offering a reward of up to $5 million for information leading to the arrest or conviction of those responsible for the murder and attempted murder of two U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement special agents.

David Johnson: All federal law enforcement agencies have realized the significance of this particular event and investigation and have really dedicated all available resources to solve this case and deal with the Southwest border.

Halpern: I’m Mollie Halpern of the Bureau and this is “Wanted by the FBI.” It was a mid-February afternoon when the two agents were ambushed while traveling on a toll road from San Luis Potosi to Mexico City. Violent Crimes Section Chief David Johnson….

Johnson: After the two ICE special agents identified themselves as employees of the U.S. government, the individuals started to shoot at them. It’s a terrible tragedy when something like this happens.
