Mollie Halpern: The FBI-led task force charged with investigating the world’s most dangerous networks of pedophiles using the Internet marks its 10th anniversary.

Paul Cha: We are trying to clean the Internet of child pornography.

Halpern: That was Supervisory Special Agent Paul Cha. The Violent Crimes Against Children International Task Force also serves to recover child victims.

Paul Cha: We are looking to save and rescue a child, doesn’t matter where they are. It’s a passion that is shared by every member of the task force.

Halpern: Some pedophiles use sophisticated online technology to try to evade law enforcement. That same technology is being used against them.

Cha: As far as the FBI’s concerned, chasing those images is one of the most effective and viable ways to identify ongoing abuse situations.
