Mr. Schiff: A couple of violent and dangerous men on the FBI’s Top Ten list are in custody. FBI Special Agent Scott Garriola in Los Angeles says Emigdio Preciado was caught in Mexico.

Mr. Garriola: “Preciado was a parolee at large who was wanted for the attempted murder of two Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputies.”

Mr. Schiff: That was in 2000. Preciado, a gang member and drug dealer, fired 21 rounds at the deputies, seriously injuring one. Garriola says Preciado was seen riding in a car.

Mr. Garriola: “When Preciado was identified as being in the back seat of the vehicle, a traffic stop was conducted on that vehicle by the Mexican police.”

Mr. Schiff: The FBI’s Assistant Legal Attaché in Mexico was there, too. Also arrested is Edward Harper. He’s wanted for sexually molesting two young Mississippi girls, ages 3 and 8. Harper was arrested in Wyoming. Take a look at other Top Ten fugitives on the Internet at fbi.gov. I’m Neal Schiff of the Bureau, and that’s what’s happening at the “FBI, This Week.”
