In August 2012, the Detroit FBI office took part in the Saginaw Chippewa Tribe’s 28th annual Pow Wow Festival held in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. More than 500 Native American and community residents attended the festival and met representatives from the Detroit office. Participants heard about community outreach programs and careers in the FBI, while some attendees (like the young lady pictured above) were also able to try on SWAT gear.
