KEVIN REESE, age 28, resident of New Orleans, Louisiana, was charged in a three count indictment by a Federal Grand Jury for distribution of heroin, announced U.S. Attorney Jim Letten.
The indictment charged REESE with three counts of knowingly and intentionally distributing a quantity of heroin. If convicted, REESE faces a maximum of twenty (20) years’ imprisonment, a $1 million fine, and at least three (3) years’ supervised release following a term of imprisonment per count. U.S. Attorney Letten reiterated that the indictment is merely a charge and that the guilt of the defendants must be proven beyond a reasonable doubt.
