Man Sentenced for 50 Years for Child Pornography Crimes

United States Attorney for the Southern District of Alabama Kenyen R. Brown announces that Nathan Allen Railey, 31, of Mobile, was sentenced today to 600 months (50 years) in prison for production, attempted production, and possession of child pornography. A jury convicted Railey of three counts of production of child pornography, one count of attempted production of child pornography, and one count of possession of child pornography following a trial in July.
The Mobile Police Department, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and the Foley Police Department conducted the investigation and presented the case for prosecution to the United States Attorney’s Office. Assistant United States Attorneys Sean P. Costello and Maria E. Murphy handled the prosecution of the case on behalf of the United States.
