The FBI is seeking the public’s help in identifying a man who is wanted in connection with a series of bank robberies throughout the Twin Cities area. Investigators believe the same man is responsible for at least five robberies beginning in January 2016.

Witnesses described the suspect as a black male, about 6’0” tall, approximately 160 pounds, and around 25 years old. He was observed wearing a dark knit hat, hooded sweatshirt, and winter coat. The most recent bank robbery occurred on March 25, 2016 at a U.S. Bank branch in Minnetonka. There, the robber approached the victim teller, handed a note demanding money, and fled on foot.

Richard T. Thornton, Special Agent in Charge of the Minneapolis Office of the FBI, requests that anyone with information regarding these robberies contact the Minneapolis FBI at 763-569-8000 or Crime Stoppers. The FBI, U.S. Bank, and Crime Stoppers are offering a reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of this bank robber.
