The FBI is Seeking Information on the Person or Persons Responsible for the Death of East Lee, a Former Member of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe

The FBI is seeking information on the person or persons responsible for the death of East Lee, a former member of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe.

Mr. Lee was killed by a single gunshot wound to the head on October 20, 2015 at Brueske Lake near Eagle Butte, South Dakota. He was last seen alive at a residence in Eagle Butte sometime after midnight on October 20.

Richard T. Thornton, special agent in charge of the Minneapolis Field Office of the FBI, requests that anyone with information regarding this matter contact the FBI Pierre Resident Agency at (605) 224-1331. The FBI previously offered a $5,000 reward, which the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe agreed to match, increasing the total reward to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the death of Mr. Lee.
