Robbery of U.S. Bank Branch in Minneapolis

On December 22, 2014, a lone black male (robber) entered a U.S. Bank branch located at 333 East Hennepin Avenue in Minneapolis, Minnesota, at approximately 6:00 p.m. The robber approached the victim teller and demanded cash while brandishing a handgun. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the robber fled from the bank on foot.

The robber was described as a black male, approximately 6’1” to 6’2” in height and weighing approximately 200 to 220 pounds. The robber was also described as being 45 to 50 years of age and having an athletic build. The robber was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and a white baseball cap.

In addition to this robbery, the robber is believed to have committed the following robberies:

  1. US Bank—333 East Hennepin Avenue, Minneapolis, Minnesota on November 19, 2014
  2. TCF Bank—3245 County Road 10, Brooklyn Center, Minnesota on December 11, 2014
