Robbery of Northwoods Bank Branch in Rush City

On February 19, 2013, at approximately 12:40 p.m., a lone, white male entered the Northwoods Bank branch located at 1275 W. Fourth Street in Rush City, Minnesota. The robber entered the bank and approached the teller counter. The robber demanded money from the victim teller after implying that he possessed a weapon. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the robber fled from the bank.

The robber was described as a white male who stood approximately 5’6” to 5’8” in height and weighed 220-230 punds. In addition, the robber wore sunglasses and a hooded sweatshirt, with a jacket over the sweatshirt.
