Robbery of Premier Bank Branch in Bloomington

On December 7, 2011, at approximately 4:20 p.m., a bank robbery occurred at a Premier Bank branch located at 500 98th Street West, Bloomington, Minnesota. The robber, who was described as a white male, entered the bank and approached the teller counter with a handgun. The robber demanded and received cash from the victim teller. After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the robber fled from the bank.

The robber was described as a white male who stood approximately 5’5” to 5’8” in height, with dark eyes. He wore a black ski mask, a black cotton jacket and brandished a handgun during the robbery. The FBI believes this robbery was committed by the “Man in Black” serial robber who has committed several robberies in the Twin Cities Metropolitan area.

Special Agent in Charge Donald Oswald, in conjunction with the Minnesota Bankers Association, is offering a reward of $25,000.00 for information which leads to the arrest and conviction of this individual.
