Robbery of First National Bank Branch in Hastings

On December 27, 2011, at approximately 5:30 p.m., a bank robbery occurred at the First National Bank, located at 1400 Frontage Road North, Hastings, Minnesota. The robber approached bank tellers and demanded cash. A black hand gun was displayed and the robber verbally threatened the bank tellers. After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the robber fled from the bank.

The robbers face and hands were fully covered. He wore a black and red coat, a winter-style hat with ear flaps, old blue jeans, and black shoes. He was further described as a male, approximately 5’10” to 6’ feet tall, race unknown, and age unknown.
