Bank Robbery in Richfield

On November 4, 2011, at approximately 9:20 a.m., the First National Bank of the Lakes, located at 6613 Penn Avenue in Richfield, Minnesota was robbed by a lone white male. The robber entered the bank and approached the teller counter. Once at the teller counter, the robber displayed a handgun and demanded cash from two separate tellers. After receiving the cash, the robber fled from the bank on foot. Once outside the bank, the robber fled in a white sedan, driving southbound on Penn Avenue.

The robber was described as a white male, possibly in his 30s, approximately 5’11” in height, with a medium build. The robber was wearing a black mask over his face, dark gloves, a black hooded sweatshirt, and black jeans.
