Seeking Information on Bank Robbery in South Dakota

On December 9, 2010, at approximately 10:20 a.m., the TCF Bank branch located at 2508 South Louise near Carinos, South Dakota, was robbed by a lone man. The robber approached a teller and brandished a handgun. The robber slapped the teller before being provided with an undisclosed amount of cash. He was not seen again after leaving the bank on foot.

The robber is described as a black male, in his 20s or 30s. He appeared to be just under six feet tall. The lower portion of his face was covered, and he wore a grey hooded and zippered sweatshirt with the brand name “Element” and a logo displayed on the front. He also wore black stretchy gloves.
