  • Chief Division Counsel Kyle A. Loven (763) 569-8540

On November 30, 2010, at approximately 6:50 p.m., the TCF Bank located at 1602 New Brighton Boulevard NE in Minneapolis, Minnesota, was robbed by a lone man. The robber entered the bank and approached the teller counter. He presented a teller a demand note which read, “This is a robbery give me all your cash. I have a gun”. No weapon was actually observed. The robber was provided with an undisclosed amount of cash from the teller before fleeing the bank on foot, heading toward the Target store across the street.

The robber is described as a white male, approximately 5’11” tall and with a stocky build and a prominent mid-section. His face was pock-marked and his finger nails appear to have been chewed. He wore a black puffy jacket and a red hat with three dark stripes. He is described as being between 50-60 years old.

The FBI requests that anyone having information regarding these robberies or the suspect robber contact the Minneapolis Police Department at 612/348-2345, the Minneapolis FBI at 612/376-3200, or Crime Stoppers.
