Seeking Information on Bank Robbery in Robbinsdale

On October 28, 2010, at approximately 10:00 a.m., the Citizens Independent Bank located at 3700 West Broadway in Robbinsdale, Minnesota, was robbed by a lone man. The robber entered the bank and approached the teller counter. He presented a teller a demand note and also made a verbal demand for money. The robber told the teller not to press any buttons. The robber was provided with an undisclosed amount of cash from the teller before fleeing the bank.

The robber is described as a black male, approximately 5’ 6” tall and with an average build. He wore a black jacket and a black leather hat. He is described as being between 40-45 years old.

The FBI requests that anyone having information regarding these robberies or the suspected robber contact the Robbinsdale Police Department at 763/531-1220, the Minneapolis FBI at 612/376-3200, or Crime Stoppers.

The charges in a federal criminal complaint are merely an accusation and defendants are presumed innocent until they are proven guilty.
