Pine Ridge Man Sentenced 46 Months for Cocaine Conspiracy

United States Attorney Marty J. Jackley announced that a man charged with various drug charges was sentenced on March 2, 2009, by US District Court Chief Judge Karen E. Schreier. Tyler Eagle Bull, age 23, of Pine Ridge, was sentenced to forty-six months imprisonment, four years supervised release, and ordered to pay a $400 fine, and $100 to the Victim's Assistance Fund. Eagle Bull was indicted for conspiracy to distribute cocaine, possession with intent to distribute cocaine, and conspiracy to distribute marijuana by a federal grand jury on May 22, 2008. He pled guilty to count I of a superseding indictment on December 4, 2008, admitting to the conspiracy in distributing cocaine, all with others, on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation. This case was investigated by the FBI and ATF. The case was prosecuted by Assistant US Attorney Mara M. Kohn. Eagle Bull was immediately turned over to the custody of the US Marshal.
