Community Events

Our office participates in a number of special community events each year. Special agents and professional staff members give public speeches, presentations, and demonstrations to groups around the division. We visit schools, businesses, community centers, and other venues to represent the FBI in our area.

fingerprints at the “Be Safe, Be Cool” event for 325 deaf
and hard of hearing students in Minnesota.

In the past, FBI employees have participated in the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics, National Night Out, PACER’s “Run, Walk, Roll Against Bullying”, the Minneapolis Police Department-sponsored “Be Safe, Be Cool”, and many other events.

If you would like to request our office’s participation in an event, please write to:

Special Agent in Charge
FBI Minneapolis Division
1501 Freeway Boulevard
Brooklyn Center, MN 55430

Include as many details about the event as possible, including the date, time, location, number of people expected, and what role you would like the FBI to serve at the event.

Please understand that while we try hard to participate in as many community activities as possible, our resources are limited. Each request will be given careful consideration.

Please contact the Minneapolis FBI Community Outreach Specialist at (763) 569-8000 with any questions.
