Suspects Sought in Two Waukesha County Bank Robberies

Richard K. Ruminski, Special Agent-in-Charge of the Milwaukee office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) joins Daniel Trawicki, Sheriff of Waukesha County; and Fred Winchowky, Police Chief of the Village of Mukwonago in asking for the public’s help to identify the suspects of two recent bank robberies in Waukesha County. Below are bank security camera photos and descriptions of the suspects in the two separate bank robberies.

Town of Wales:

On Saturday, June 12, 2010, at approximately 12:00 noon, a male suspect robbed the Town Bank branch located at 200 W. Summit Avenue in Wales, WI. The suspect is described as the following:

White male, 45 to 55 years old, 5 feet, 7 inches to 5 feet, 9 inches tall, 150 to 175 pounds, slim build, grey facial hair with a weathered complexion. During the robbery, he wore a gray hooded sweatshirt, glasses with a tint, dark colored painters type mask, dirty blue jeans, gray tennis shoes, and carrying a white plastic bag.

The suspect fled the bank in a late model (1990 to 1996) black two door Chevrolet, possibly a Beretta.

A REWARD is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect. Anyone with information should call the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department Detective Bureau at (262) 548-7122, or the Milwaukee office of the FBI at (414) 276-4684.

Village of Mukwonago:

On Tuesday, June 15, 2010, at approximately 2:08 p.m., a male suspect robbed the M&I Bank branch located at 730 Fox Street in Mukwonago, WI. The suspect is described as the following:

White male, 30 to 50 years old, 5 feet, 8 inches to 5 feet, 11 inches tall, 160 to 180 pounds, medium build, with light colored hair. During the robbery, the suspect wore a light colored baseball cap with a logo, blue bandana covering the lower portion of his face, dark hooded sweatshirt with logo, dark colored gloves, khaki colored cargo pants and darker colored footwear (possibly boots).

M&I Bank is offering a $25,000 REWARD for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect in the M&I Bank Mukwonago robbery. Anyone with information should call the Mukwonago Police Department at (262) 363-6435, or the FBI Milwaukee office at (414) 276-4684.
