Robbery of Chase Bank Branch in Homestead

The FBI is releasing photographs from a bank robbery that took place yesterday (May 14, 2012) at approximately 11:30 a.m. at the Chase Bank branch located at 13701 SW 288 St. in Homestead, Florida.

The robber entered the bank, handed a note that threatened a bomb to a bank employee, and demanded money. Customers were in the bank at the time of the robbery. No one was injured. Money was taken, but the amount will not be released at this time.

It is believed that the robber departed the robbery location in a white Dodge 1500 pickup truck driven by an accomplice.
