A. Todd McCall Named Special Agent in Charge of Memphis Division

Director Robert S. Mueller, III has named A. Todd McCall special agent in charge of the FBI’s Memphis Division. Mr. McCall most recently served as chief of the Digital Forensics and Analysis Section in the Operational Technology Division, where he was responsible for all computer and digital evidence forensic matters for the FBI.

Mr. McCall began his career as a special agent in November 1990 and reported to the Dallas Division. The next year, he was appointed to the Evidence Response Team and was involved in the management of a number of high-profile, major crime scene investigations, including the Oklahoma City bombing and the September 11, 2001 crash of United Air Lines Flight 93 in Shanksville, Pennsylvania.

In May 1999, Mr. McCall was promoted to supervisory special agent at the FBI Laboratory in Quantico, Virginia, and in December 2003, he was promoted again to chief of the Photographic Operations and Imaging Services Unit.

Mr. McCall reported to the Memphis Division’s Jackson, Tennessee Resident Agency in June 2005 to serve as the supervisory senior resident agent. In September 2010, Mr. McCall was promoted to assistant special agent in charge for all criminal programs and administrative matters in the Memphis Division.

Prior to joining the FBI, Mr. McCall was a radio and television news reporter and an investigator for the state of Arkansas.
