FBI Arrests Bank Robber

On Thursday, June 30, 2011, at approximately 10:30 a.m. CST, James Linwood Jones, black male, 51 years old, was arrested by the FBI’s Violent Crime Gang Task Force and Metro Nashville Police at the Scottish Inn Motel, 526 Murfreesboro Road, Nashville, TN, based on an outstanding warrant for his alleged involvement in two local bank robberies. Jones was wanted for his role in the May 13, 2011 robbery of the U.S. Bank, Goodlettsville, TN and the May 26, 2011 robbery of the Bank of America, 1013 16th Avenue South, Nashville, TN.
