Missouri Bank Robbery Suspect Arrested in Tennessee

FBI Memphis September 03, 2009
  • Supervisory Special Agent Joel E. Siskovic (901) 747-4300

My Harrison, Special Agent in Charge of the Memphis Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and Chief Raymond Simmons of the Humboldt Police Department, announced the arrest of MARIO LAMAR BUCKNER subsequent to a Federal Arrest Warrant issued in Missouri, for the August 10, 2009 robbery of Commerce Bank, 8050 Big Bend Boulevard, Webster Groves, Missouri.

On Thursday, September 3, 2009, BUCKNER, a black male, age 30, was arrested in Humboldt, Tennessee, at the Humboldt Village Apartments, 2600 Spangler Drive, without incident by members of the FBI and the Humboldt PD.

The public is reminded that a warrant for arrest contains only charges and is not evidence of guilt. Defendants are presumed innocent and are entitled to a fair trial, at which the government has the burden of proving guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
