Robbery of the Regions Bank, 1045 N. Germantown Parkway, Cordova, Tennessee

On June 2, 2009, at approximately 10:15 a.m., a lone white male robbed the Regions Bank located at 1045 N. Germantown Parkway, Cordova, Tennessee.  The robber approached the teller counter, provided a demand note which threatened a handgun and demanded money.  The robber exited the bank parking lot westbound on a bicycle with an undetermined amount of federally insured funds.  No one was injured during the robbery.

The robber was apprehended in a neighborhood behind the bank hiding in a treehouse.  The robber identified himself as Jeremiah Isaiah, 38 years old. He is described as a white male, approximately 5’8” tall, bald, thin build, and 150 pounds.

Jeremiah Isaiah was charged Federally in the Western District of Tennessee on June 3, 2009, for violation of Title 18 U.S.C. 2113(a), the Federal Bank Robbery Statute.

This is the 5th bank/credit union robbery in Shelby County in 2009. It is being investigated by the Safe Streets Task Force. The Task Force is comprised of members of the Memphis Police Department, the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office, Germantown Police Department, Bartlett Police Department, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
