Columbia Man Pleads Guilty to Distributing Crack

BOWLING GREEN, KY—Timmy Miller, age 43, of Columbia, Kentucky, in Adair County, pled guilty on December 16, 2009, to distributing crack cocaine on three occasions, United States Attorney Candace G. Hill of the Western District of Kentucky announced today.

Miller admitted that on March 27, 2007, May 15, 2007, and June 29, 2007, he sold crack cocaine. The maximum potential penalties are 60 years’ imprisonment, a $3,000,000 fine, and supervised release for a period of not less than three years.

The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney David Weiser, and it was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Kentucky State Police.

The plea was entered before Joseph H. McKinley, Judge, United States District Court, Bowling Green, Kentucky. Miller is scheduled to be sentenced before Judge McKinley on March 11, 2010, at 12:00 p.m., in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
