The FBI and police, in and around Los Angeles, are seeking the whereabouts of a man known as the “Salt & Pepper” Bandit, in connection with a series of bank robberies in Los Angeles County.

Since January 5, the Salt & Pepper Bandit is considered armed and dangerous and has been linked to seventeen bank robberies in multiple cities, listed below. During the robberies, the bandit threatens to start shooting if the victim tellers do not comply with his demands for cash. In addition to verbal demands, the bandit also passes a note when he approaches the teller’s window.

He has also been seen leaving banks in a gold-colored Toyota Corolla, 4-door, model from the mid-90s.

The Salt & Pepper Bandit is further described as a black male, 5’08” to 5’11”, approximately 170 lbs. with salt and pepper-colored hair. After further investigation by detectives with the Seal Beach Police Department which led to a possible identity of the bandit, law enforcement is seeking a man identified as Brian Keith Robinson, 49 years old, in connection with the robberies linked to the Salt & Pepper Bandit.
