Bank Robbery Suspect Sought By FBI

The FBI in Reno is seeking information regarding a suspect who robbed a Carson City bank last Friday. The suspect entered the Mutual of Omaha Bank, located at 1101 N. Carson Street in Carson City, at approximately 12:33 p.m. last Friday, August 20, 2010. The suspect handed a teller a note that demanded money. The suspect fled the scene on foot after receiving an undisclosed amount of cash from the teller. No one was injured during the robbery.

The suspect is described as a white male in his late 20’s or early 30’s, approximately 5’8” tall, weighing about 175 pounds, with short hair or a shaved head and no facial hair. At the time of the robbery, the suspect wore a red AC/DC t-shirt, blue jeans, a black baseball cap, dark sunglasses, white tennis shoes with green stripes, and carried a black backpack. Photographs of the suspect taken by bank surveillance cameras during the robbery are below.
