Today, FBI Director James Comey and FBI Knoxville Special Agent in Charge Edward Reinhold, along with Chattanooga Police Chief Fletcher, met with FBI personnel and other federal, state, and local partners who are investigating the tragic events of July 16 in Chattanooga.

“I witnessed firsthand the skill and determination of each member of this team as we try to understand the events of that day,” said Director Comey. “We continue to make every effort to figure out what happened and why to bring justice for the families of our service members who paid the ultimate price for their country.”
