The Knoxville Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and Chief Jack Baldwin of the Pigeon Forge Police Department (PFPD) are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the man who robbed a Pigeon Forge Bank today.

At approximately 11:00 this morning, a man entered the Home Federal Bank located at 3671 Parkway in Pigeon Forge and threatened to have a weapon. Witnesses described the suspect as a white male, with light brown hair and a mustache, a medium complexion, in his mid 30s, between 5’11” and 6’1” tall, and between 210 and 220 pounds with a stocky build. Suspect was wearing blue jeans, a white tee shirt, a blue/gray fishing cap, and prescription eyeglasses. After obtaining an undetermined amount of money, the suspect fled the scene on foot.

The suspect is believed to be the same man who robbed the Sun Trust Bank at 3375 Parkway in Pigeon Forge on April 2, 2009.

Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI at 865-544-0751 or the PFPD at (423) 453-9063.

All defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
