FBI and the Church Hill Police Department are Searching for a Man Who Robbed Kingsport Press Credit Union

The Knoxville Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and Chief Mark Johnson of the Church Hill Police Department (CHPD) are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the man who robbed a Church Hill credit union today.

At approximately 10:13 this morning, a man entered the Kingsport Press Credit Union located at 755 Highway 11W, Church Hill, Tennessee.   After claiming he had a gun and threatening the teller, the suspect obtained an undetermined amount of money.  He left the scene in an older model, pewter, four-door, Nissan Sentra. 

Witnesses described the suspect as a white male, medium complexion, early 40’s, approximately 6’, heavy build, and between 200 and 220 pounds.  Suspect was wearing blue jeans, a black and brown checkered flannel shirt, and an olive green or khaki colored ball cap.

All defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
