FBI, KPD, and KCSO, as Part of the Safe Streets Task Force, Announce the Arrest of Richard C. Woodall

The Knoxville Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and Sheriff Jimmy “J.J.” Jones of the Knox County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) announce the arrest of Richard C. Woodall on federal bank robbery charges related to the robbery of the First Tennessee Bank located at 7501 Tazwell Pike in Knoxville on December 22, 2008.

At approximately 6:30 p.m. last night, Richard C. Woodall, age 49, of Corryton, Tennessee, was arrested, without incident, by members of the FBI Safe Streets Task Force (SSTF). Woodall has been charged federally with Armed Bank Robbery.

All defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
