FBI Expands Multi-State Search for Jewelry Store Robbery Suspects

The FBI, in conjunction with state and local law enforcement agencies, is seeking information regarding multiple jewelry store robberies in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, and Tennessee.

Most recently, on October 16, 2015 at approximately 9:42 a.m., a white female in her late 20s to early 30s, approximately 5’8” tall and 130 pounds, entered a Jared Vault location in Seiverville, Tennessee and displayed a handgun. At gunpoint, the suspect zip-tied two store employees’ hands and moved them to the store’s back office. The female suspect then returned to the merchandise area and placed jewelry into a shopping bag before exiting the store.

The white female is also suspected in the armed robbery of a Reeds Jewelers location in Panama City Beach, Florida on August 11, 2015, where she zip-tied employees’ hands and moved them to the store’s restroom. A black male suspect in his late-30s or early 40s, approximately 6’0” tall and 250 pounds, is seen on surveillance video shutting the front door, while the white female suspect proceeded to remove various items of jewelry from the display cases. Surveillance photos appear to show the suspect’s vehicle as a red 2009/2010 Honda Civic LX with tinted windows.

The white female and black male are also suspected in the armed robbery of a Jared Jewelry store in Woodstock, Georgia on April 29, 2015, and Zale’s Jewelry store in Dawsonville, Georgia on August 5, 2015. On September 2, 2015, the Jared Jewelry store in Bluffton, South Carolina was also robbed by a white female with a handgun fitting the same description.

On Tuesday, October 27 the FBI launched a multi-state effort to seek information from the public to include Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia. Suspects are considered armed and dangerous.
