Week in Review – Fort Wayne

FORT WAYNE, IN—The United States Attorney’s Office announced the following activity in federal court:

Michael O’Brien, 45, of Howe, Indiana, pled guilty before Magistrate Judge Roger Cosbey to counts one and two of an indictment charging him with mailing threatening communications. These charges were filed as the result of an investigation by the United States Postal Inspection Service. This case is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Lesley Miller Lowery.

Camelia “Camy” Bishop, 51, of Blufton, Indiana, pled guilty before Magistrate Judge Roger Cosbey to counts one and two of an indictment charging her with wire fraud and mail fraud. These charges were filed as the result of an investigation by the United States Postal Inspection Service. This case is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Lovita Morris King.

Adrian Lee, 39, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, pled guilty before Magistrate Judge Roger Cosbey to count one of a superseding indictment charging him with conspiracy to distribute cocaine in the case U.S. v Andre Hutchins et al. These charges were filed as the result of an investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Fort Wayne Safe Streets Task Force, the Fort Wayne Police Department, the Indiana State Police, and the Allen County Police Department. This case is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Anthony Geller.

The specific sentence in each case to be imposed upon conviction will be determined by the judge after a consideration of federal sentencing statutes and the Federal Sentencing Guidelines.
