Mason District Bank Robberies: June - August 2014. There have been two bank robberies at Capital One Banks and one robbery at SunTrust Bank inside a Safeway store in Mason’s area involving the same suspect. During each, a black male produces a handwritten note implying a weapon and demanding cash. In multiple cases, the suspect was wearing a white FOREVER LOYAL T-shirt and placed the money in a blue bag with black drawstrings The cases have occurred on a Monday and Friday close to closing time and Saturday afternoon. The suspect fled immediately on foot.The suspect is a black male in his 30s to 40s, 6’0”-6’3” tall, 200 pounds, with a mustache/goatee; he has worn a “Forever Loyal” white T-shirt, dark pants, and dark-colored hat. UPDATED INFO - AUGUST 15, 2014: Most recent case was an attempted robbery at BB&T bank. This case is the only one that occurred in the morning hours. There was a suspicious event involving the same suspect at this BB&T on July, 21, 2014.
