Seeking Victim or Witness Information in Carsen Mansfield Investigation
The FBI’s New York Division Hudson Valley Resident Agency is seeking to identify potential victims of a sextortion scheme allegedly carried out by Carsen Mansfield, 23, of Newburgh, New York.
Mansfield was recently arrested and charged with extortion, under 18 U.S.C. § 875(d), by the United States Attorney’s Office in the Southern District of New York.
The FBI believes Mansfield primarily targeted teenage girls through a Twitter/X username "expogirlsss" and Discord username "noname45.". As described in a criminal complaint previously filed against Mansfield, he would seek out sexually explicit images of minor females from their previous boyfriends and family members. Once obtained, Mansfield would use these images as blackmail to extort additional sexual images from these minor females through various social media platforms. Mansfield is believed to have engaged in this sextortion scheme prior to November 2023 to the present.
The FBI is seeking the public’s help in identifying potential victims who may have been threatened, harassed, or extorted by Mansfield’s scheme. The FBI believes victims may have been contacted on the following platforms by any of the following social media accounts:
- Twitter/X: @expogirlsss, @nadalima3, display name: GOONERGANG
