Seeking Victim Information in Patrick Tran Investigation
Patrick Tran is charged with production and possession of child pornography and coercion and enticement of multiple victims. He allegedly used a fabricated online persona he referred to as “Reggie Smith” with SnapChat username “Travis_Story20.” Tran allegedly portrayed himself in videos as a black male with short black hair, wearing sunglasses, a necklace, and no shirt. Authorities believe he used this persona to entice hundreds of underage females to produce and transmit sexually explicit videos of themselves for a period of more than 10 years.
The FBI is seeking the public’s help in identifying potential victims who were under the age of 18 and may have been asked by Tran to produce sexually graphic videos or engage in sexual conduct while online. Contact may have occurred through the following social media accounts:
- Alias: Reggie Smith
- Snapchat username: Travis_Story20
- Omegle (no usernames)
