2023 Director’s Community Leadership Award Recipient

The Sacramento Division honors California County Superintendents. The CCS partnered with FBI Sacramento to host a series of School Safety Symposiums in 2023. The symposiums gathered law enforcement and K through 12 education leaders to review the latest information about active-shooter threats. The CCS helped build understanding between the two sectors as they worked to ensure community safety. Accepting on behalf of the organization is Kindra Britt.
