2023 Director’s Community Leadership Award Recipient

The Kansas City Division honors Gavriela Geller. The executive director of the Jewish Community Relations Bureau/American Jewish Committee, Ms. Geller facilitates civil rights discussions between the community, ethnic and minority groups, and law enforcement. She has worked tirelessly to prevent hate crimes and violence and to ensure such incidents are accurately reported and publicized.
