2023 Director’s Community Leadership Award Recipient

The Charlotte Division honors Beloved Haven. A human trafficking nonprofit organization in Elizabeth City, Beloved Haven worked with other organizations to develop a multi-disciplinary team to help trafficking survivors. Beloved Haven has shown an unwavering devotion to helping these victims in a region where many believe human trafficking only happens in other places. Accepting on behalf of the organization is Tina Pennington.
