Albuquerque - Assistance Dogs of the West

2023 Director’s Community Leadership Award Recipient

The Albuquerque Division honors Assistance Dogs of the West. ADW trains dogs to work in courthouses, other criminal justice settings, and on crisis response teams. Their dogs ease the stress of child and adult victims — and the people who work with them. The FBI has deployed its own comfort dogs trained by ADW to several mass shootings. Accepting on behalf of the organization is Jill Felice (Feh-Lease).
