The FBI Washington Field Office honors Katrina King. King is the senior community coordinator of the Empowered Communities Opioid Project, which helps people with opioid-use disorders involved with the criminal justice system navigate health and social care systems. Having a past opioid addiction, she advocates for those with addiction, and serves as a bridge between recovery communities and law enforcement in Prince William County, Virginia. She also partners with the FBI.
